This OSHA bloodborne pathogens training program will provide students with the essential knowledge necessary to help reduce or eliminate the occupational risk of bloodborne pathogens. The goal of this training program is to help students understand the risks and develop behaviors that will help protect them when they are exposed to potentially infectious material.

756 Bloodborne Pathogens in Healthcare Settings is a training program designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge to help reduce or eliminate the occupational risk of bloodborne pathogens in various healthcare settings. The goal of this course is to help students understand the risks and develop behaviors to help protect them when exposed to potentially infectious materials, such as blood.

This course is based on 755 Bloodborne Pathogens, but includes additional information on needlestick safety, universal precautions, laboratory safety, and more.

OSHA requires bloodborne pathogens training meet the specific needs of the employee, such as those working in the healthcare industry. This course is designed to meet those specific needs.
